| 『Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince』 |

 「ハリポタ６」が届いた。他の本を読んでいるので、すぐに取りかかれないのが残念だけど、前作よりも200ページほど少ない。今度はどんなに分厚いのだろう？と、興味津々、怖さ半分でいたのに、拍子抜けしてしまった。アーヴィングの新作のほうが分厚いじゃないか！と。
今回も米版で読む。英版はオリジナルの初版だから、とりあえず取っておく（発行部数が多いから、高値になるとも思えないけど）。英版はPBで。
というわけで、『エデンの東』を早く読まなきゃ！図書館で借りたものでなければ、とりあえず中断して後回しにしてもいいのだが、借りているものだから、そうもいかない。「BOOK CLUB」の課題本というのもあるが、実際面白いので、中断したくもないのだ。
それはそうと、未読、既読問わず、本はAmazon印の紙製書棚にしまいこんである。それをどんどん上に積み上げていくものだから、何がどこに入っているのか、だんだんわからなくなりつつある。まずい。何があるかはノートを見ればわかるのだが、どこにあるのかは、神のみぞ知るという感じ。
「ハリポタ」コレクションも、前作から２年も経っているので、肝心のコレクションをどこに置いたかな？と。箱の表面にそれと書いてあっても、どんどん増殖する書棚に隠されて、それさえも見えなくなっているから、探す場合には、全部崩さなくてはわからない。ほんとにまずい。
