AFC・U-20選手権プレビューは、この大会が輩出した代表選手を紹介していますが、
（最初に紹介したのは日本関係分）今大会のスター候補として二人の＊高校生＊を
取り上げています。うち一人が菊地くんでしたので持ってきてみました。
清商をOB名まで挙げて書いているのが面白いですね。この原稿を書いたのは誰？
そして本人が持ち味と認めていない模様の（笑）汎用性について、その清商と
U-17世界選手権時を比較して書いているのも。しかしすごい褒められよう…

さすがに前回の雑誌を見ると、今との顔の違いに驚かされます。特に、82年組は
当時高校生＝黒髪なだけに違和感が。ああ、みんな大人になったね、としみじみ。
U-21なりU-19なりを見てていつも思うのは―五輪予選で彼らは50000の大観衆の
前でプレーできるかということです。国立を満員にできるか、です。いや、私なぞは
率先して応援に行くべきなんでしょうけど。ちょっと、不安、というか、心配。
