I've finished reading "Thanks for the Memories."

It's a kind of romantic comedy.
Joyce, who lost her baby, was treated with blood transfusion and got the memories of the donor.
It's absurd! I know. But that's the situation.

I love Joyce's father the best.
He is annoying but very attractive.
His love for his daughter was moving.

Basically, it's comedy. But some scenes are so real.
For example...

Joyce took a trip to London to stalk the donor and she took her father with her.
It was his first time to fly and the trip was full of happenings.
He was looking forward to boasting about his adventure in London to his fellows.
But it was when he came home that he found one of his friend had died during his absence.

The death disappointed me much...

I enjoyed reading because the characters were charming, though the setup of the story is ridiculous.



英語は思ったより難しかった。

何となくいいな〜と思って。友達の温かさが。
もちろんこの後全てを打ち明けてやっぱり怪訝な反応をされるんだけれども。
