I Love Traveling (English) |

Traveling can be a great adventure.
Ever since I was a kid, just going around Japan with my family, I have always loved the experience and adventure of travel. I feel the same way when I grow up, even though now on other countries. I have been lucky to continuously keep my passion for travel. But why do I love traveling so much...
Traveling alone can be a challenge to me. I experience a great feeling of independence from traveling. I don't know where I'm going, and I don't know how long I will stay. I can go wherever I want, whenever I want. It's all up to me. While this is exciting and fun, full of hopes and fears. When you really want something in life, you have to go it alone. Well, everything I own is with me in one backpack, I only have a few pairs of pants, t-shirts, and some travel items.
I love meeting new people all the time. I have met many people and made many new friends during travels. The world is full of friendly, nice, generous people. You actually meet people from different cultures and learn that they are not so different from you.
I was trying to learn their languages for communication. You know, one of my favorite pastimes is learning languages. When I travel, I often spend time with the locals or other travelers and taking about many new topics. I can at least greet someone in their native language and it goes without saying that "hello", "thank you", and "good bye" still now.
I always send postcards when I travel. First, it is good way to tell them I'm safely traveling. Second, sending mail back home can make me feel more connected. Third, Sharing my experiences can make my family and friends feel like they are a part of my journey.
I haven't been to that many countries, but so far I like Tibet the best. I was deeply touched by the Tibet, by its unique and religious culture, its great landscape, and more importantly I just like Tibet for its people. Tibetans are really friendly, hospitable to foreigners. Tibet is such a heavenly place with the relally bluest sky, white seas of clouds under the beautiful Himalayas. Travel to Tibet was one of the most precious memory in my life.
... Just keep tryin' I wouldn't change the travel.
I wish that I could travel far more. |
