ずっと前からうちの店に来て欲しいなと思っていた人が来たんだけど、ちょうど私がお昼の休憩に出るところで話しかけられなかった。ちょっとでも時間があれば、その人のやっていることをとても面白いと思っていることくらいは伝えられたのになと思う。最近その人が出した本を、うちのお店に来るお客さんも面白いって話してたことなんかも伝えたかった。
家に帰ってビデオに録画しておいたインディペンデントスピリットアワードの授賞式を見る。恒例の替え歌コーナーで、「juno」の時だけkimya dawsonが映画の中で使われている「tire swing」って曲をそのまま演奏してて、とっても良かった。ぜひまた日本に来てライヴやってほしいなと思います。「juno」のサントラも良さそうです。

The sound of our voices made us forget everything

Scotty liked all of the books that I recommended
Even if he didn't I wouldn't be offended
Now I'm home for less than twenty-four hours
That's hardly time to take a shower

Check my email write a song and make a few phone calls
Before it's time to leave again
